The Northumberland coast is a truly special place for many reasons: it’s landscape, nature, people and history. Space for Shorebirds is dedicated to protecting the birds and dunes of the Northumberland coast which are globally important and part of our precious natural heritage.

These pages are to help you to understand the lives of the birds and wildflowers that depend on this landscape and what you can do to help them.
